BACKTRACK - Muleteam Season Finale
Our 2023-2024 season ended with 22 of our long-term friends, including a couple from Washington DC and their young son. Weather was great, and 10 explored the Cave before joining the group for our end-of-the-year picnic. Doug gave a presentation about the history of the Muleteam, starting in 2000, and that we now have had 100+ different hikes since that time and 100+ blog subscribers. Just this season we had 29 hikes and 21 different leaders. Sandy and Carol won the Golden Spike Award for leading the most hikes. The highlight of the day was awarding Larry a plaque for his 23+ years of service to the Muleteam. - Doug
