Brown Canyon

WALK THE BROWN CANYON LOOP
Join the Muleteam this Saturday for a hike through a unique and scenic wooded canyon in the Huachuca Mountains of Sierra Vista. This route is about 5 miles and not difficult. The trailhead will be at the parking lot at E Ramsey Canyon Road (not at the ranch), and the loop return will be from the water trough. Bring water and lunch. Back mid-afternoon. Meet October 31 at 9am by the Old Bisbee courthouse fountain to carpool or join us by 9:45am at the trailhead. For more info contact Don at 505-350-5023 or cooperd328@gmail.com. 

 

NOTE: The trailhead parking and trail route is a little different for us.

BACKTRACK - City Trail

The first hike of our 27th season had 18 hikers and 6 dogs, a nice combination of new people and old timers on a cool and sunny day. Doug met us on the trail with Shotgun, and most of us had coffee downtown after. Good to get going again. - Larry

City Trail

HIKE THE CITY TRAIL

Join the Muleteam this Saturday, Oct 24 for a walk above Old Bisbee with great views. The foot path is clear, but rocky and uneven. Total hike is about 4 miles with occasional rest stops. Bring water, snack or lunch and maybe a hiking stick. Back by noon with optional coffee/lunch after. Meet Oct 24 at 9am by the Old Bisbee courthouse fountain to begin the hike. Free. The Muleteam 27th Season begins soon. The first hike is Oct 24. 

 

Now is the time to think about what hike (or hikes) you will volunteer to lead. See schedule below. There is a weekly notice of every hike with a detailed description at muleteam.blogspot.com (you can subscribe for the email on the blogspot). The blogspot has the calendar for all hiking Saturdays between October 24, 2026 to mid-May 2027. I have a description of past hikes to jog your memory of hikes that you have really enjoyed and may want to lead this year.
