HIKE JOE'S CANYON TRAIL TO CORONADO PEAK
Join the Muleteam this Saturday March 18th to hike from the Coronado Visitor Center through a very scenic valley in the Huachuca Mountains to Coronado Peak for a view of Mexico. This is a continuous uphill trail returning down the same way for a total of about 6.5 miles. Bring water and lunch but no dogs. Back mid-afternoon. Meet March 18th at 9am by the County Courthouse fountain in Old Bisbee for a 30-minute drive to the Visitor Center. Carpooling is encouraged. Free, but contributions are appreciated. BACKTRACK - Mural* Hill
15 people and Kala the dog hiked across the desert up rocky paths and old mining roads in the Mule Mountains of Old Bisbee. Thank you to Brad who left ahead of the group and did some trail pruning. We met up with him and Susan at the hill (which made 17 of us), and a few hikers remained at the base of the hill to avoid the steep climb to the top. Dawn did the hike with a ukulele on her back, and after lunch she sang a song** for us that she wrote about the Muleteam. And on our return no one got lost! - Larry
